Exhibition about Branislav Pekic’s work

Belgrade, March 26. 2010 (Serbia Today) - As a part of 80 th anniversary since the birth of Borislav Pekic in the Cultural Center of Serbia in Paris was held an exhibition dedicated to the renown Serbian write on Thursday March, 25 . In the statement from the Belgrade City Library it was said that the exhibition was organized for the first time two years ago in the library courtyard, and is now translated into French and supplemented with new posters.

"The exhibition captures all the important moments in the life and work Borislav Pekic, from the childhood and family albums to significant awards and recognition," the statement said. Three books of the "Golden Fleece" were translated and published in France, a goal of the exhibition is to encourage the French translators and publishers to publish other books by Pekic. The exhibition at the Cultural Center of Serbia in Paris,was opened by the Ambassador of Serbia Dusan Batakovic, director of the Belgrade City Library Jasmina Ninkov and author Olga Krasic-Marjanovic. the exhibition in Paris was enabled by the financial support from the Ministry of Culture of Serbia.
